But... if you wish to test your Chef skills, here is a healthy salad recipe for you to try. This easy supper salad is an ideal option if you want to eat something with low calories but most importantly delicious and satisfying. Out Chef's salad is packed with all the good stuff to get you feeling great, so lets get started!

You will need:


- Low fat halloumi

- Any salad you like (spinach, rocket or mixed leaves)

- Cherry tomatoes

- Avocado


- Whole grain mustard

- Dijon mustard

- Organic honey

- Olive oil

- Red wine vinegar

- A drop of water

- Lemon

- A pinch of salt and pepper


  1. Heat a frying pan over a medium heat. Thickly slice the halloumi and griddle or fry it for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  2. On a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the dressings. Be careful not to add too much whole grain mustard as it can be too strong. Try and test. Shake well and set aside.
  3. Place the salad, cherry tomatoes and the avocado and toss together. Top with the griddled halloumi slices. Then with a spoon, toss the dressing on top.
